About Dr. Imbarrato

Dr. Frank Imbarrato is a board certified Family Physician licensed in the states of SC and NY.               Upon completing his Family Medicine residency in Williamsport, Pa., he established a private practice in the Hudson Valley, NY where he co-founded Horizon Family Medical Group. Dr. Imbarrato’s Family Practice included wide ranged office based family medicine, full scale inpatient hospital services and extensive care for the elderly in long term care facilities .He volunteered extensively including volunteer medical director of a Pregnancy Resource Center for 20 years.

Dr. Imbarrato and his wife, Karen relocated to Hilton Head Island in 2013 after 32 years in New York. Currently practicing at Main Street Medical, he is thankful to have joined Dr. Joel Johnson and his healthcare team in serving the local community. Dr. Imbarrato enjoys the privilege to serve in a wonderful clinic setting to those who have both primary care and urgent care needs. He approaches each patient as an individual and holistically, based on their needs, concerns and personal healthcare issues. He volunteers locally at Volunteers in Medicine, a free clinic to the indigent poor, migrants and the uninsured.

Dr. Imbarrato is devoted to international medical missions around the world serving on or leading over 45 mission trips with the Christian Medical & Dental Association over the past 20 years. He enjoys running, biking, golf and spending time with Karen, his family and 5 grandchildren.
